"Virtual Stories" is funded by the Berlin Center for Global Engagement (BCGE) of the Berlin University Alliance (BUA). The project was selected as part of the Inaugural Call of the BCGE in 2020.


Centre Marc Bloch (CMB) supports "Virtual Stories" by providing digital infrastructure for online trainings, as well as by hosting a workshop in Berlin.


"Virtual Stories" is officially and financially hosted by the Center for Anthropological Research on Museum and Heritage (CARMAH) of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.


The Association of Middle East Children and Youth Studies (AMECYS), an academic association for scholars of children and youth and their diasporic communities, collaborates with  "Virtual Stories" in preparing directories, as well as organizing events.
